I served ten years as a Hospital Corpsman and was trained in trauma medicine and critical care management, where I spent considerable time instructing and redeveloping medical training plans. I am very proud of working on restoring the crucial infrastructure of a hurricane-stricken Puerto Rico hospital and the evacuation of Afghanistan. I also enjoyed serving alongside the Marines, where I learned valuable lessons about teamwork, flexibility, and change management.
I spent the last few years working for the Department of Defense medical evacuation enterprise, where I further honed my project management skills. I worked on critical projects with multifaceted teams across four continents. Through this experience, I developed strong project management skills and learned to handle unexpected changes easily. The military had shown me hard work, but overall, a sense of friendship and belonging that cannot be explained.
Through the Skillbridge selection process, it was important to find a place where I felt connected and at home; Kolme Group met those criteria and more. In my off time, my wife and I continue the search for the perfect beach, traveling the world to find the tastiest ramen and cheering on Scuderia Ferrari in Formula 1.
