EP9: GetRuntimeParameter() vs GetHiddenRuntimeParameter() – AdaptiveWork Function In A Flash
Published
August 05, 2022

In this episode, you’ll learn how:
✔️ The GetRuntimeParameter() function returns a string representing an object reference.
✔️ The GetHiddenRuntimeParameter () allows you to pass one or more object references from a custom action to a subsequent daisy-chained custom action.

The GetHiddenRunTimeParameter function passes values as a parameter from one custom action to another. The order of parameters sent must match the order on the intake form.

GetRunTimeParameter has uses outside of daisy-chained CAs, such as:
✔️ Custom URL formula fields that call a custom action when clicked.
✔️ Notifications that include a link to a specific object.

Welcome to Kolme Group’s Planview AdaptiveWork Function in a Flash! We introduce you to a new AdaptiveWork function in each episode and show you how to use it!
